Let's Make Books

This was a great book. The ideas are similar to what I look for. Since I work mainly with the lower elementary levels I use a lot of patterns and hands on materials. She had a puzzle pattern for one or two word ideas. Of course she labeled this project "Idea Starters". There was also a file box. On the out side of the file folder she listed: stories, 1-2-3 and Topics, 1-2-3 where published and located. The tab on the folder had the name of the author.

Another idea was patterns for books. She had a blank boot, tree, cat, dinosaur, car, bear, and even a dog. These are great ideas since draw pictures and then dictate what they drew.

Dr. Brady used the bubble diagram. She talked a lot about visuals. This is a helpful book .
