The leadership of the project combines the skills and talents of professors, researchers, and classroom teachers to guide and direct the activities that support the vision and direction of the Advisory Board.

The Oregon Writing Project - University of Oregon Advisory Board meets once a quarter to take stock, review program goals and record progress toward the accomplishment of OWP site goals. These twenty-eight active, insightful educators represent a wide variety of specialties, teaching levels and endorsements. Their work involves developing a program vision that defines what will be accomplished, empowers and supports teachers, and maintains the momentum of the project.
